GE70 is a robust, 70 mm bore, maintenance-friendly spherical plain bearing designed to handle very high radial loads while accommodating significant misalignment. Its steel-on-steel construction makes it ideal for heavy, slow-moving, or oscillating machinery in harsh environments.

Features of GE70 Spherical Plain Bearing 

Type: Radial Spherical Plain Bearing. It is designed to accommodate radial loads (loads perpendicular to the shaft) primarily.

Articulation: Its key feature is the ability to accommodate misalignment. The spherical inner ring can slide and rotate within the outer ring, allowing for angular misalignment (typically up to ±2° to ±4°, depending on the series and internal clearance). It can also accommodate rotational movement.

Sliding Contact Surface: The GE series features a hardened and ground steel-on-steel sliding surface. This makes it robust and suitable for:

High loads.

Slow to moderate oscillating movements.

Applications where lubrication is difficult or impossible.

Lubrication: It comes with initial lubrication and has grooves and holes for re-lubrication, extending its service life in demanding conditions.
